    JAMIE DRAKE

One of LA's best-kept musical songwriting secrets is taking centerstage.

After more than a decade working with musical greats like Sondre Lerche, Moby, Jim James (My Morning Jacket) Sarah and Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), and Mikael Jorgensen (Wilco), Jamie Drake released her lushly orchestrated  indie-folk-pop album, “Everything’s Fine” in 2019 on AntiFragile Music. With over 20M streams on Spotify and critical acclaim from NPR Music, Talkhouse, Flood, BGS and Atwood Magazine, the album earned a coveted spot on Wilco’s “Favorite Albums of 2019” list.

Tours for the release included supporting J.S Ondara, Devotchka, The Watkins Family Hour, Sondre Lerche and Shawn Colvin, and maintained an 18-month long position on the cover of Spotify’s “Modern Eclectic” playlist.

In 2022 Drake released “New Girl,” also on AntiFragile Music. With its 1970s-Laurel Canyon-meets-Rio de Janeiro soundscape, and Grammy-award winning Rich Jacques at the helm, the songs were recorded in single vocal take. Drake toured New Girl nationally both as a headliner and supporting John Splithoff and Kiltro.

In early 2025, Drake’s EP “So Many Melodies,” a collaboration with Justin Wade Tam (Humming House), saw Drake exploring a deep Americana soundscape, with soaring harmonies and road-weary confessional lyrics.

This summer, Drake’s single, “Thread And The Spark,” marks a new beginning for the artist. Written with, and produced by Emmett Kai (Jordana), the music takes Drake’s folk roots and adds a distinct edge to create a soundscape that pulses with desire and celebrates hope, feeling both nostalgic and fresh at the same time.
